Apple begins to disable ports for non-authorized devices accessing Siri servers
As much as you may like the idea of running Siri on a non-iPhone-4S device, Apple seems to feel differently. Per Redmond Pie, Apple has added a new barrier to the software needed to run Siri, a move that shows the Cupertino, Calif., company is actively tracking the growing number of iDevice users who have managed to port the voice-recognizing assistant to non-supported hardware.
